Three ways to be found
Guests find independent properties in three places now: the Google map pack, the organic results your site is fast enough to hold, and the answer an AI assistant gives when asked directly. Each has different mechanics.
Get found in the map pack
Local SEO is the work that decides whether your property appears in the three map results guests actually tap. It is your Google Business Profile, consistent business details across the web, reviews, and pages that match how people search near you.
- Google Business Profile rebuild
- Citations & NAP consistency
- Review strategy
Fast, crawlable, indexed
Technical SEO makes sure search engines can reach your pages, understand them, and serve them fast enough that guests do not leave first. It is the least visible work I do and usually the highest leverage.
- Core Web Vitals
- Crawl & index audit
- Site architecture
Get named by AI assistants
GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization) are the work of getting your property named inside AI answers: the recommendation ChatGPT gives when a guest asks where to stay in your town. It runs on the same evidence Google uses, assembled so a language model can quote it.
- AI visibility baseline
- Citable content structure
- Entity consistency
“…the best known is your property, cited for its garden rooms.”

The same four stages, whichever service you start with
- 01
Audit
I crawl the site, pull field performance data, check your profile and citations, and run twenty guest queries through four AI assistants. You get a prioritised list, not a 60-page PDF.
- 02
Fix foundations
Speed, crawling, indexing and structured data first. Content on a site search engines struggle with is wasted effort, so this order is not negotiable.
- 03
Build visibility
Google Business Profile, reviews, local pages, citable content, and entity consistency across every place your property is described.

Report
Monthly: map pack grid, Search Console clicks and positions, AI visibility log, and what I am doing next. Written so you can read it in five minutes.
Choosing between them
Which service does my property need first?
Technical SEO first if your site is slow or pages are not indexed, local SEO first if the site is sound but you are invisible in the map pack. The audit answers this in a week, and it is the reason I do not sell a service until I have looked.
Can I buy just one service?
Yes for the audit, which is one-time and standalone. The ongoing tiers bundle local and technical work, because separating them produces the situation where I optimise pages that Google is not crawling properly, and both of us waste three months finding out.
Do you work with hotel chains or only independents?
Independents, and that is deliberate. A chain has brand search volume and an in-house team, which changes the whole approach. Independent hotels, guesthouses and restaurants compete on local and AI visibility, and that is the work I am set up to do.
Want to know what is holding your property back?
Send me your website and I will reply within one business day with the two or three things I would fix first. No call required, no obligation.
